About Chef Green
Chef Green, CEO of Anu Green Experience and The Wellness House, LLC started her vegan/vegetarian/raw food career and sustainable clothing brand in 2011. She noted the correlation between nutrition and disease and felt compelled to help members of her family heal themselves through whole foods and herbs. She went on to offer juice detoxes and healthy meal plans to others outside of her family to enhance their vitality, health and overall well being through food. Green expertly crafts nutritious balanced whole foods that are aromatic and delicious.
She has apprenticed with world renowned raw food chef Dr. Aris LaTham, and earned her certification as a Raw Food Chef. She also worked with Washington D.C.’s local Raw Food Chef Khepra, of Khepra’s Raw Food Juice Bar. She is currently a Private Chef /Health Coach and studying holistic nutrition at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine in Washington D.C. towards a certification in Holistic Nutrition. Chef Green has participated in various festivals, including New Life Expo Yoga and Raw Food in New York City, African American Festival in Brooklyn, NY, and Fenton Street festivals in Silver Spring MD. She also participated in the Heart & Sole event with Chef Rock Harper in Washington DC.
Chef Green was awarded the Peoples Choice award for the Best Mac n Cheese in Baltimore, has participated in Chef Take Overs at Dovecote in Baltimore MD, Vegans N Da Hood a Vegan pop experience in New Jersey, and a yoga retreat in Montego Bay Jamaica. Most recently, Chef Green has partnered with Dr. Lucille L. Ellis - founder of Food from the Garden Ministry - to facilitate workshops that teach people how to "take back their health through food" with a whole food plant-based lifestyle.
